El fuego secreto
Categories: Latin American Narrative
Un libro alucinante. Un desafío a la vez que una bofetada. Vallejo se desgarra al escribir, y nos desgarra y nos alucina.
This second part of Vallejo’s five autobiographical novels, is a drastic exercise against every socially established norm. The novel recreates the life of an antihero from a low class in Medellín in the Sixties. A narrator who describes himself as old and bitter recounts a vital trip through the forbidden: the rough gay and drug-filled lifestyles of those times.
